Vancouver, B.C., September 5th, 2024 – Harbour Air, North America’s largest seaplane airline, is excited to announce their participation in the Everything Electric Canada show taking place September 6th-8th, 2024 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Everything Electric is the world’s premiere home energy & electric vehicle show focused on EVs, renewable energy and sustainable technology via educational speaking sessions, an exhibitor expo, and events promoting a cleaner future.
Harbour Air’s Erika Holtz will speak at 1:30pm on September 7th at a panel session titled “Is flying the biggest elephant in the room?”, which discusses the future of electric aviation and will provide insights about the company’s electric eBeaver plane and their aircraft electrification program. |
I’m excited to be speaking on the future of electric aviation at this year’s Everything Electric Canada show, and discussing how Harbour Air has had success in this area. We have a strong mission towards achieving net-zero flight for not only our own airline but others as well, and we look forward to collaborating with industry, government and partners throughout the transportation ecosystem towards this goal. Our eBeaver electric aircraft is a testament to our desire to make commercial electric flight a reality in the near future.

About the eBeaver
In partnership with and powered by magniX’s industry-leading electric engine technology, Harbour Air’s eBeaver originally made history on December 10, 2019 with a test flight as the world’s first fully electric commercial aircraft. It has since flown 90 test flights on its path towards full certification, expected sometime in 2026-27. The eBeaver program showcases the possibilities of electric aviation, continues Harbour Air’s journey towards the commercialization of net-zero flight, and makes electrification technology available to airlines who wish to decarbonize their fleet.
